Getting to Wild Adventures in Valdosta

Wild Adventures is located at 3766 Old Clyattville Road in Valdosta, Georgia. The park is easily accessible by car. If you are driving to Valdosta, use your GPS to plan the best route. Valdosta is accessible via major highways and interstates, including I-75, US-41, and US-221. These highways connect to neighboring cities such as Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee. Wild Adventures is located just four miles off Exit 13 on I-75 near Valdosta, Georgia. From Tallahassee, Florida the drive is about an hour and a half.

Wild Adventures Tickets

For those planning a single-day visit, standard admission tickets grant access to all of the rides and attractions throughout the park. Admission to Splash Island Water Park is included and does not require a separate ticket purchase.

For avid adventure seekers, the park offers season passes providing access for the entire season. Season Passholders can revel in the excitement whenever they choose, making it an excellent option for locals or frequent visitors. 

To simplify the ticketing process and avoid waiting in longer lines at the gate, get your tickets online ahead of time. You can even save a little bit of money! 

Currently, the price for a one-day park ticket at the gate is $59.99. Purchasing online in advance can save you up to $15.

Parking at Wild Adventures

Parking at Wild Adventures Theme Park is a hassle-free experience for visitors. Upon arriving at the park, you’ll approach the parking terminals and pay for your parking pass. There is ample parking available past the gates, making it easy to find a spot for your vehicle. The parking lot is located near the park’s main entrance so you should have a relatively short walk.

Parking is currently $18 per car, motorcycle, or recreational vehicle. Parking is free for certain Season Passholders. You can save a few dollars by purchasing your parking pass ahead of time online.

When to Visit Wild Adventures

Wild Adventures operates on a seasonal schedule. Be sure to check the calendar on their website when you’re planning to visit. The peak season for the park is during the summer months, from June to August, when schools are on break and families often plan trips to amusement parks. The summer months will have the most open park days while other months are sometimes only open on weekends. 

Wild Adventures also features special seasonal events. As the fall approaches, the park transforms into a spooky wonderland. Great Pumpkin LumiNights features a jungle of jack-o-lanterns, including towering pumpkin sculptures, and a crop of sunflowers lighting up the night. During the day, you can experience a fun foam party and a huge Pumpkin Spice Festival. 

When the holiday season arrives, take part in Wild Adventures Christmas with twinkling lights, colorful decorations, and lots of cheer. Watch an awe-inspiring floating lake spectacular featuring thousands of sparkling lights reflecting across the water, walk through an illuminated tunnel dancing to your favorite Christmas songs, visit the Gingerbread Village, and look forward to meeting beloved Christmas characters.

Rides

Prepare to experience a rush like never before as you conquer Wild Adventures’ signature roller coasters. The Ultimate Animal Feeding Package is an all-in-one option. Add the package online or stop by Expedition Market during your visit. This package is $29.99 + tax and includes 2 giraffe feedings, 2 cups of feed at The Birdhouse, 2 bags of gator food at Discovery Outpost, 1 cup of feed for Liberty Farms Petting Zoo, 2 nature feeds for the pond, and a 6×8 souvenir photo.

Shows and Entertainment

What to Bring to Wild Adventures

You’ll be doing a lot of walking at Wild Adventures, so it’s important to wear comfortable shoes. If you plan to ride some of the more intense roller coasters, I also would not recommend any slide on shoes or sandals – you’ll want them to be secure!

Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. The weather in Valdosta can be hot and sunny, so it’s important to protect yourself from the sun. You should also bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated. Portable fans are a good idea too.

If you’re planning to spend some time at Splash Island Water Park, you’ll want to pack bathing suits, towels, and a change of dry clothes. Water shoes are a good idea for walking around on the hot walkways.

Wild Adventures has FuelRod kiosks throughout the park, so if you already have one you’re in luck! These are portable chargers that, after you buy your first one, you can swap out for a new full charged one at no cost. They have these at Disney and they are so convenient!

Wild Adventure Tips

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable visit, consider a few of these tips. Most importantl, plan your visit in advance. Be sure to check the park hours for the dates you’re interested in and choose the ticket option that suits your needs. Remember, purchasing your tickets online in advance can also save you some money!

Download the Wild Adventures app on your smartphone. You’ll be able to save rides, attractions, and more to your favorites and start planning out your day. Take a peek at the times for any of the animal encounters you’re interested in so you don’t miss them – I highly recommend one of the giraffe feedings!

There are lockers available if you’ll be bringing things for the water park and don’t want to tote them around all day or go back out to your vehicle in the parking lot.

Be sure to take breaks throughout the day. Spend some time in the shade and relax a little bit. Doing too much can wear everyone out quickly.

Bring a stroller if you have little ones. With all of the walking, they’ll enjoy being able to take breaks. There are strollers to rent if you don’t bring your own with you.

New Campground Coming in 2024

As part of a continuing multi-phased expansion, the adventure gets bigger when Wild Adventures provides families with a one-of-a-kind way to sleep under the stars and near the animals at an all-new seven-acre campground adjacent to the theme park. The campground is set to overlook the grazing animals at Wild Adventures and will have an exclusive park entrance just for campers. The full-facility campground will include a store and bathhouse with a mix of RV and tent camping options. Special amenities will include a fishing pond and walking trails. It is set to open in the Fall of 2024.
