Capture Your Moment is a 20-minute private photo session with a Disney PhotoPass photographer inside one of the four theme parks.

This is the perfect way to get everyone in the picture and have a way to remember all of the fun you had! Sessions are booked online and paid for ahead of time, up to 60 days in advance.
How much does Capture Your Moment cost?
The cost is $99, including tax for a 20 minute session. While this covers the time with a photographer, remember that photos must be purchased separately. This gives you flexibility in choosing how many photos you want to take home or share.
If you have purchased Memory Maker for your trip or if you have a qualifying Annual Pass, then you will be able to download the photos captured by the photographer during the experience at no extra cost.
The full payment is due at the time of booking.
Capture Your Moment Does Not Include Theme Park Admission
A valid park ticket or Annual Pass is required to enter Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park for the photo session. Depending on your ticket type, you may also need to make a theme park reservation.
Theme park admission is not included in the price of this experience and booking a photo session alone does not guarantee your entry to the theme park.

Capture Your Moment Party Size and Attire
When booking a Capture Your Moment photo session at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can include up to eight people in your photos. This number excludes children under the age of two, who aren’t counted in the total.
While dressing up for your photo session is fun, it’s important to keep the theme park’s guidelines in mind. Attire and guest-supplied props must abide by the park policies. Wedding attire and clothing that drags on the ground will not permitted. Select outfits that are comfortable, stylish, and suitable for a day of exploring and picture-taking.
There are some props available to use, ask at check-in to see if there’s anything you would like to use in your photos.

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. The full price will be charged and forfeited if you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up for your reservation.

Checking In for Your Photo Session
When you arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for your Capture Your Moment photo session, start by heading to the information desk near Island Mercantile. If you are walking from the park entrance straight towards the Tree of Life, it’s the shop on your left after you’ve crossed over the bridge. It’s a good idea to check in about 15 minutes before your scheduled time. This gives you extra time to settle in and let the experience begin smoothly.
Your photographer will meet you here. They’ll guide you to available locations for the shoot. Remember, locations might change due to weather or park events, so stay open-minded and flexible.
Sessions cannot be extended due to late arrival.
Our Capture Your Moment Photo Session at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Experience
When we personally booked a Capture Your Moment photos session at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we had a 12:00 PM window. We arrived and checked in at about 11:45 AM.
They asked if there were any specific locations or photos we wanted, but I was open to wherever the photographer wanted to take us.
We started over on the right side of the Tree of Life and walked through one of the trails for some additional photos.
Then we made our way over to Harambe Market and found some of the well-known Instagram-worthy walls located throughout.
We ended our session at the exit of Kilimanjaro Safaris.
Since we have Annual Passes, within an hour there were almost 100 photos available for us to view and download in the app.
It was such a wonderful experience and I highly recommend making a reservation if you want a private photo session while on your Disney vacation.
Our photographer was personable and made sure we were able to get any specific shots that we wanted. We did a lot of pictures together but also did some individually; you can mix it up as much as you like!
