What is Tri Circle D Ranch?

Tri Circle D Ranch is located within Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. This sprawling 750-acre area is more than just a campground. It is a natural retreat filled with the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves. The ranch features a variety of activities centered around horseback riding and pony experiences. It is a fantastic spot for families to visit.

Tri Circle D Ranch

A Brief History of Tri Circle D Ranch

The ranch has a rich history that goes back to the early days of Disney. Tri Circle D Ranch was originally created to house the horses used for the iconic Walt Disney World parades and attractions. The name “Tri Circle D” refers to the three circles in the Disney logo, symbolizing the blend of creativity, imagination, and fun that Disney represents. It’s a place where the magic of Disney meets the love of nature and animals, making it an unforgettable experience for visitors.

The ranch is split into two locations. The stable near the Settlement area of Disney’s Fort Wilderness is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Guests are welcome to walk through the area and visit the horses. Pony rides also depart from this location. The Trail Blaze Corral is located at the Main Entrance to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. When checking in for horseback riding, visit the building with the large Tri-Circle-D Ranch sign near the Main Outpost parking lot.
