As a lifelong Disney fan, I’ve been fortunate to experience some of the most enchanting adventures the Disney parks have to offer. However, there’s always more magic to uncover. With my Disney bucket list in hand, I’m excited to share the dreams and goals I’ve set for my ultimate Disney experience. Whether you’re a seasoned Disney enthusiast or planning your first trip, these ideas might just inspire your own Disney bucket list.

10 Items on My Personal Disney Bucket List
Here are 10 items that are on my personal Disney Bucket List! I hope that at some point I’m able to cross all of these off!
Visit Disneyland
The original Disneyland in Anaheim, California, is where the magic all began. Walking through the park where Walt Disney himself once strolled is a must-do for any Disney fan. Disneyland offers a charming, nostalgic experience that is distinct from any other Disney park. From the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle to classic rides like Indiana Jones Adventure (a thrilling experience not found at Walt Disney World) and the Haunted Mansion, every corner of Disneyland holds a piece of Disney history.
Experience the Keys to the Kingdom Tour
For those who are fascinated by the behind-the-scenes magic, the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at the Magic Kingdom is a must-do. This tour offers an insider’s look at the hidden details and backstage secrets that make the Magic Kingdom so special. Personally, I’m most interested in learning about the park’s history and exploring the underground utilidors – a secret network of tunnels used for maintenance and character movement. This tour is a treasure trove of Disney knowledge and a top priority on my Disney bucket list.
Stay at Every Walt Disney World Resort
Staying at each of the Walt Disney World Resorts is another ambitious goal on my Disney bucket list. Each resort offers a unique theme and experience, from the tropical paradise of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to the African savannah-inspired Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I still have a few resorts to go and each new stay adds a different bit of magic to my Disney adventures.
Get a Black Pearl from Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at the Polynesian Village Resort is known for its whimsical and immersive tiki bar experience. One of the highlights of this tropical haven is the elusive Black Pearl. When you order the Polynesian Pearl Cocktail, a large clam shell behind the bar opens up for the bartender to grab a pearl to fill with your cocktail. Only one out of every 100 pearls is a black pearl, and the rest are white. The fun atmosphere and interactive bartenders make it a must-visit spot!
Visit the Cinderella Castle Suite
Few experiences are as exclusive and magical as spending a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite at Walt Disney World. This luxurious suite, hidden within the iconic Cinderella Castle, is the ultimate Disney dream. While stays are not available for booking and are typically reserved for special promotions and contests, a visit to this opulent suite remains a glittering goal on my Disney bucket list.
Take a VIP Tour with Friends
Experiencing the parks with friends is always a joy, and taking a VIP Tour together is the ultimate way to do it. These tours offer a personalized experience with a dedicated guide, priority access to attractions, and insider tips that make the day extra special. Sharing this exceptional experience with friends makes it a highlight of my Disney bucket list.
Attend the Taping of the Disney Christmas Shows or Parade
Disney’s holiday celebrations are legendary, and being part of the taping of the Disney Christmas Shows or Parade would be a festive and memorable experience. Imagine being surrounded by holiday cheer, Disney characters in festive attire, and spectacular performances! This is a seasonal treat that’s definitely on my Disney bucket list.
Visit Club 33
Club 33 is the epitome of Disney exclusivity. This private club, located in Disneyland and other Disney parks, offers a luxurious dining experience with a rich history. Gaining access to Club 33 is a rare opportunity, and being able to dine there would be a dream come true. It’s an elite item on my Disney bucket list, but one that promises an unforgettable experience.
Tour the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank
The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, is where the magic of Disney movies and shows comes to life. Touring this historic studio, where countless beloved classics were created, is a significant item on my Disney bucket list. From exploring the animation building to seeing Walt Disney’s office, this tour would provide a fascinating glimpse into the heart of Disney’s creative world.
Wild Africa Trek
For a unique adventure, the Wild Africa Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers an exhilarating experience. This guided tour takes you behind the scenes to explore the park’s savannah and get up close with exotic wildlife. Walking across rope bridges, riding in safari vehicles, and learning about the animals and their habitats make the Wild Africa Trek an exciting addition to my Disney bucket list.
