Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is a huge franchise that has had a such an impact on the film industry and pop culture. Since the first Marvel movie was released, there have been over 20 theatrical releases with more on the way! With so many new movies in the Marvel family, it’s hard to know the best way to watch the Marvel movies in order. Plus, if you’re anything like me, you probably got behind when they were originally released!

How to Watch the Marvel Movies in Order
There are two ways you can watch all of these action-packed movies: either by their release date or by following the MCU timeline in chronological order. If you go by release date, the order will be quite different than watching them in chronological order. You really can’t go wrong, but if you watch them in chronological order, it’s easier to understand the backstory of each movie and the characters. I love the way that so many of these movies and characters become woven into other films and shows over time. I think it makes the storytelling so special!

I was LITERALLY just talking about this with my brother-in-law a few weekends ago. I like the Marvel movies, but I am so far behind that I feel like I actually can’t watch them anymore because I’m so lost. This is amazing- THANK YOU!
My favorite is a toss up between Thor and Spiderman.
